PARENT/TEACHER COMMUNICATION
Our teachers are always available to have discussions with you. However, we kindly request that you refrain from approaching teachers in between classes, as it can cause delays in the start time of the subsequent class. Please understand that before teaching a class, our teachers are focused on preparing for the upcoming session, and after class, they often need to quickly transition to their next teaching engagement.
For the smooth progress of classes, parents are not allowed to engage teachers while they are actively instructing. It’s important to remember that teachers are present to impart knowledge to the dancers, and interrupting their classes can hinder the learning process for the students.
If you wish to arrange a meeting or have questions, please feel free to reach out by calling the studio at 434-549-5539 or by sending an email to jodiecarrolldancecompany@gmail.com. We encourage you to utilize these methods to schedule a mutually convenient time for a conference.
If you have inquiries regarding your account, costumes, or any other matters, you are welcome to visit the lobby to inquire in person or send an email to Hilliary at hdevall.jcdc@gmail.com. We are here to assist you and ensure a smooth communication process.
INCLEMENT WEATHER
We will determine our course of action regarding inclement weather independently. Typically, many school systems announce closures early in the day, and by the time our classes commence, the weather often improves. In the event that schools close early, we will assess the situation to prioritize everyone’s safety.
As a parent, you have the discretion to decide whether to keep your child at home if you believe that road conditions are hazardous. Your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us, and we respect your judgment in such situations.
